Stanbridge Ponds & River Rother Tributary - Petersfield - GU31 5RB
Water Information & Updates
  • Lily Pond: Mixed fishery with Small Carp, Tench, Roach, Bream, Crucian, Perch and Rudd.
  • Long Pond: Fun Carp fishery – all sizes up to small doubles.
  • River Rother Tributary: Narrow with pools and weirs holding Trout, Gudgeon, Roach and Rudd.

Access to the Ponds is via gate opposite Stanbridge Farm A – Vehicle across the field when ground is firm only. If not, you must park vehicles in Stanbridge Farmyard. If you are going to access via the field with your car, park just inside the farm entrance and cross the road to open the gate or you will be leaving your vehicle sticking out into the main road. Please be aware that this road is quite fast, so please take care and be alert. When driving across the field, please try and take the higher route as the lower levels of the field are very soft.

Access to the Tributary can be made from either A or B on the map. The Northern End is indicated by the end of the field and the Southern End (across the B2146) adjacent to a public footpath. Both ends are signed. A shows you where to pull into Stanbridge Farm, our gate is opposite this so please be careful when crossing to open the gate. B shows the entrance to the Ponds, please be aware that the fence is electrified – you can unhook with the blue handle – you do so at your own risk.
