Following advice, the PDAS are pleased to confirm the following in addition to the General Water Rules and Specific Water Rules:

1 – All waters will re- open on Wednesday 13th May at 12 noon, NO anglers allowed on any water until 12 noon as preparations for re-opening will not be finished until this time.

2 – All waters will have restrictions to conform to Angling Trust guidelines.  This could mean for example that certain swims are closed and taped off. Under NO circumstances is fishing allowed outside the swims that are open. Any additional water rules will be posted at the specific water and the club website individual water pages.

3 – Maximum stay on any water is limited to 24 hours.

4 – Anglers must always maintain a safe distance (minimum of 15 metres) from other anglers whilst fishing on the water. There is no sharing of pegs or fishing tackle except by members of the same household.

5 – Anglers MUST carry their own hand sanitizers to use after opening gates and pad locks.

6 – Anglers must only travel to venues on their own or with other members of their family. Cars must not be shared.  Take particular care when parking not to break social distancing rules.

7 – Bailiffs will still be checking memberships and adherence to rules. This will be carried out at a safe distance, you need to show your membership and not pass it to the bailiff. Do not approach within 2 metres of a bailiff.

8 – Do not visit any water if you have symptoms of COVID-19. Stay at home and follow Government advice on isolation.

9 – Anyone breaking these rules or existing club rules will be asked to leave and reported to the disciplinary committee.

Please stay safe and be responsible for your actions to protect yourself and other anglers and understand that there may be times you turn up and all swims are taken.

If you have any concerns or are unsure of anything, please contact the pond warden or the fishery team, telephone numbers are in handbook or on website contact page.

These rules may be subject to change at any time as government advice changes. Please regularly check the website, our social media, Forum and read notices on the waters.
